Microfiction Monday #69 & #23

It's that time again, Microfiction Monday:

It was embarrassed. Hands in its face all the time. It was praying no one would notice that its 7 was really an upside down 2.

Here's the twenty-third picture:

Here's my response:

It was the smile that crewed a thousand ships.

LOL Funny. I noticed that about the 7 myself. Had to look twice to make certain the clock wasn't upside down.

I, too, notice that about the 7. What font is that? Clever caption.

Never been a fan of those 'upside down 2' sevens...not a fav font! Hope you have a fantastic week! :>

I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one to catch that particular typographic anomaly.

Oh yes! And the 2 is an upsidedown 7 as well!

Oh dear, you did notice!
Guess I am the only one who did not notice it earlier, or pretended not to in order to spare the clock from further embarassment...haha!

Nice personification of the clock. Poor guy...so self-conscious!

I never realized the sad life of a clock. I feel so bad, now, for staring at it every afternoon about closing time.

Thanks again.
