Pressed against the bridge's crumbling rock, he prayed for the soldier's voices to move off. Instead, he heard a splash.

He was trapped.

Both are great--first one, funny, second one, mysterious and scary...was it a grenade? A dead body? It makes me want to know more!

Have to agree with Pat, Dave! Love them both, but I have a "thing" about the mysterious ones and the second one makes me want to know more -- like Pat! Hope you have a great week!
