Before the internet came and ruined everything, Teletext was the place for info and fun. You could even write in and share your views with the nation. I did, praising Lush. I often wonder if @berenyi_miki or @evjanderson read my letter. Or if they'll like this#Lush #Lovelife pic.twitter.com/4bfm62C1mE— Albumcoversdrawnrealbad (@albumsdrawnbad) July 31, 2018

Mud flowed up Trump's pyjamas

O, P, S, T... four letters that can be used to spell either STOP or POST. If only @bjork would use them to give me a message as to whether she wants me to post the picture I've drawn of her or stop this nonsense. Oh wait, she has!#Bjork #Post #AlbumCoversDrawnRealBad pic.twitter.com/bTO90wXrQu— Albumcoversdrawnrealbad (@albumsdrawnbad) July 27, 2018
I had to get a new laptop yesterday. The guy in PC world was running through all the brilliant things it could do when I interrupted to say it was crucial that it had Microsoft Paint. Have you ever wondered how the @genuineverve would describe this account? I have, and I reckon they'd say it's a Twitter feed with funny pics mis-scribed. At which point I'd have to point out that mis-scribed isn't a proper word.#TheVerve #UrbanHymns #AlbumCoversDrawnRealBad pic.twitter.com/9zZuX2UrL3— Albumcoversdrawnrealbad (@albumsdrawnbad) July 5, 2018

In Trump's America, a 17-year-old privileged, white teenage boy can’t be held accountable for sexually abusing teenage girls, but toddlers brought to America are detained, held in cages and expected to defend themselves in immigration court. Fantastic
I can't understand all the fuss from those that didn't like it. Are the other Anthology films in jeopardy now? If they are there's no justice.
I'd happily watch films about Boba Fett, Obi-Wan, young Lando, young Yoda, Solo 2... pic.twitter.com/zHelKeu3zi

For six months a year, the town of Rjukan, Norway, located in a steep mountain valley, receives no direct sunlight. Phill Jupitus tweeted something lovely about us, but you'll have to take my word for it, because it's not there anymore.

Carruthers Ten Years On: August 2009
Phil Reed hurt a thumb and I marked the occasion with Thumbs Up, which was hardly extraordinary in itself, but Phil's much funnier response threw down a gauntlet and sadly my attempt to answer that is a link that no longer functions. We'll never know what I thought looked sufficiently like a "statue of a big teste".
What was really nice to look back on was the kindness of Emma Kennedy, Marek Larwood, David Schneider, Debbie Chazen and Norman Lovett who we must have emailed and/or tweeted @ and they took the time to watch and encourage us. I'm enormously grateful to all of them. Even to Ivor Dembina. I've always believed that the bad reviews are just as important as the good, but I have to say it's reassuring that he was the only dissenting voice.
Years later, Andy was working on the TV shoot of something and bumped into Marek Larwood. I assumed it was Taskmaster, but Marek's never done one which seems like a criminal oversight on the part of whoever is producing Taskmaster. Marek saw Andy and did something of a double take and asked where do he know Andy from?
Also years later, I met Norman Lovett who didn't remember me at all, but as soon as he heard my name he said "Everybody's dead, Dave" and got on with his life, which is a much better reaction.
