Carleton In Lockdown Premieres Tomorrow

The 'socially distanced documentary', Carleton In Lockdown, has a suitably socially distanced and virtual premiere this Saturday the 18th of June 2020 at 7pm, Greenwich Mean Time.

It's due to appear on the website here at that time. If you visit before Saturday at 7pm, there will be a lovely welcoming "coming soon", but no film.

If you are unable to join us on Saturday at 7pm, the documentary will be available to stream at your leisure.

I'm really looking forward to hearing what people think of Carleton In Lockdown.

Carleton In Lockdown Announced

So the first project that I am working on with PMH Productions is called Carleton In Lockdown and it concerns how the North Yorkshire village of Carleton-In-Craven has been affected by coronavirus and the lockdown in response to it.

Residents of the village were interviewed on their doorsteps about their experiences of lockdown. All interviews were conducted under strict social distancing guidelines and the film crew remained two metres away at all times.

The Craven Herald and Pioneer gave the documentary some coverage.

Harry's Heroes Again

The Harry's Heroes piece appeared on BBC Look North's Evening News Broadcast as well.

Harry's Heroes On BBC Look North

I recently took a job working for PMH Productions and we are in the midst of filming a documentary, more on that subject later.

Footage from the documentary has been used this lunchtime on Look North, the local BBC News programme. It's part of a element of the show called Harry's Heroes, in which presenter Harry Gration praises public spirited individuals.

Vicky, who takes part in our documentary nominated her neighbours, the Churcher family as heroes. The Churchers have been playing a track every day at 12pm throughout lockdown. Dubbed the 'Tune at Noon', it got neighbours out of the houses for a dance to lift spirits. It lead to the 'Mix at Six' on a Friday, six songs at 6pm to start the weekend off.
